WHAT IS VAGINAL REJUVENATION SURGERY?

Vaginal relaxation or feeling ‘loose’ is a consequence of childbirth and ageing process. Structures supporting the vagina and muscles are weakened after childbirth and menopause. It gradually worsens and causes laxity and prolapse of the pelvic organs. This causes a loss of sexual gratification to women and her partner. 

Vaginal Rejuvenation is a reconstructive and cosmetic procedure to tighten/repair the vaginal canal and the opening of the vagina for sexual function. It also involves in reducing the size and to re-shape the labia (small/inner lips outside the vagina) and also tightening of the perineum, which has a vital structure that supports the muscles around the vaginal opening. 

This procedure can be performed under local anaesthesia and can be done as a day case surgery. Cost of surgery ranges from RM2500 to RM6000. It depends on the type of procedure and type of anaesthesia used.
